The team at Proflex Hose offers a wide range of flexible hoses designed for the safe transfer of fluids, exhaust, abrasive materials, gases, food products and other substances between areas or containers.

But why is a flexible hose the best solution for your needs? In this article, the Proflex Hose team explains a few of the benefits of these versatile products.

    A Range of Materials Available

Our hoses can be fabricated from a number of different materials in numerous different styles. Options include stainless steel hose, PTFE smooth bore or convoluted hose or composite hose.

    Bespoke Design Options

A well as offering high quality pre-made products, Proflex Hose can design and fabricate products to exact specifications provided by our customers.

For example, our composite hoses can be made with a double-spiral core of wire formed from a metal of the client’s choice, such as stainless or galvanised steel. The outer layer of the pipe may be made from any number of fabrics or polymers in order to perfectly suit any intended application.

Our stainless steel flexible hoses are made from grade 304 steel as standard, but this can be upgraded to grade 316 for greater corrosion resistance.

We even offer alternative materials such as monel, inconel, hastalloys and bronze.

    A Safer Means of Transfer

Our hoses have been tested to exceptionally high levels of temperature and pressure. Depending on the type you choose and the materials you select, they are also highly corrosion resistant – making them ideal for transporting or transferring volatile materials.

Their flexibility allows them to easily absorb vibrations, making damage far less likely.

    Suitable for many Applications

Thanks to the wide range of manufacturing options and materials we offer, Proflex Hose currently serves numerous different sectors – including the oil, gas, hydraulic, general industrial, air conditioning and refrigeration industries.

This just goes to show exactly how versatile and adaptable our products are.

    Bespoke Fittings Available

Proflex Hose also provides all of the fittings, flanges and other associated products required to make sure all connections and attachments are as secure, safe and functional as possible.

Superb Service From Start to Finish

Whether you know precisely what you need or you have a number of matters to clarify before you can decide on the ideal products for a particular project or application, we’re here to help you.

We’ll talk you through the planned application for your new flexible hoses and help you to develop a clear specification.

We adhere strictly to planned production schedules and always strive to reduce manufacturing costs and lead times – meaning you’ll always experience the fastest achievable turnover and the best possible value for money.
