But all this changed with the release of the movie, Aparajit, starring Ajit Chandrasek, where he finally got the recognition he deserved. After that film, producers started sending him script after script, and today, he is known for his hilarious acting roles. He has also been in some Hollywood movies, but was unable to crack the role of a villain very well.

Role: The latest Rajinis movie hero, Khushru, is a love story between a prince and a princess, played by Amrita Sher-Gil. She played by Aishwarya Rai. Aishwarya Rai and Amrita Sher-Gil both got an opportunity to act in a good movie, as they were recommended by Ranbir Kapoor. Both of them cracked the screen test for the role of parish Puri.
