    Salesforce has a special offering for non-profits organization (NGOs) which is called Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud.

    This is part of the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP). With this, Salesforce assists NGOs in fundraising, including other aspects.

    However, in terms of fundraising, Salesforce provides a wide range of fundraising tools, such as–

    • Donation forms
    • Campaign management
    • and Tracking of donations

    These features make it easier for nonprofits to raise money and understand the most effective fundraising strategies.

    Here is further information on how exactly Salesforce helps NGOs with fundraising:

    1. Donor Management

    NPSP lets nonprofits track and manage donor information. And NGOs use this information to segment donors.

    To add more, with NPSP, nonprofits can segment their donors based on a variety of criteria, like:

    • Donation History
    • Location

    Through this, NGOs can create targeted fundraising campaigns for different groups of donors.

    1. Donation Tracking

    With NPSP, nonprofits can track donations and make detailed reports on donation activity:

    • Donor demographics
    • Donation amounts
    • Donation sources
    • Donation dates
    • and Campaigns effectiveness

    One of the iconic features is customizable donation forms. Additionally, NGOs can make custom donation forms they can embed on their website.

    Furthermore, they can configure formats to accept different types of donations, such as– one-time or recurring donations. This supports gathering additional information on donors.

    Moreover, nonprofits can process multiple donations at the same time. This saves time and makes the donation tracking process more efficient.

    1. Campaign Management

    Via campaign management tools, nonprofits can create and manage fundraising campaigns, including setting donation goals and tracking progress.

    Personal Fundraising Pages: 

    Supporters of a campaign can create personal fundraising pages, which they can share with their networks to ask for donations.

    These pages are customizable. So, there will be the supporter’s own messages, images, and videos.

    Team Fundraising:

    Nonprofits create teams of supporters who can work together to raise money for a campaign.

    Other than these, this particular feature is to share their personal fundraising pages on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

    Besides, the fundraising pages are mobile-friendly. Therefore, supporters can access their personal fundraising pages on mobile devices and make donations through mobile.

    1. Event Management

    Event management in Salesforce is creating, organizing, and managing events using the Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP).

    Some of the ways the features of event management help NGOs are:

    • Create and manage events, including setting up event details such as date, location, and time.
    • Sell tickets for events and track ticket sales in real time.
    • Manage event registration, including creating custom registration forms and tracking attendee information.
    • Track event attendance and check-in attendees using a mobile device or tablet.
    1. Automated Communications

    In NPSP, nonprofits can create automated email and text communications for donors.

    Nonetheless, with automated communication tools, nonprofit organizations to schedule and send automated messages to their donors and supporters.

    Furthermore, with automation tools, NGOs can be used to send out fundraising appeals, fundraising campaign updates, donation receipts, thank you messages, event invitations, and other types of communications.

    With these tools, nonprofits can target specific groups of people based on their donation history, volunteer status, or other criteria and schedule messages to be sent at specific times.

    Therefore, NGOs can more efficiently engage with their donors and supporters and improve their fundraising and outreach efforts.

    1. Integrations

    The NPSP is built on top of Salesforce, a platform for managing customer relationships. Thus, NPSP lets NGOs connect and share data between different systems, such as:

    • Accounting systems, such as QuickBooks, to track financial transactions.
    • Email marketing platforms, such as MailChimp, to send targeted campaigns.
    • Payment processors, such as Stripe, to process donations.
