Assure to have fire precautions if your hazard is slightly moving, and make sure everyone is standing up well. Avoid drinking the alcohol until bonfire displays and children are not too close to the flame.

Bone Fire Night also serves as a timely reminder to check your smoking alarms – a working alarm can make a big difference in the event of an accident.

    Is Your Property Suitable?

Preferably, you will need plenty of space in your property if you have a great mass of people around you, but this is especially important with a bonfire display because it has many safety implications.

You only will you need enough room to fit each one. Make sure that people in your garden enjoy the fireworks and fireworks displays from a safe distance. You will also need to check for trees, telegraph poles, or anything nearby that may mystify a warning around exposed flames. Hold on to any fencing plants nearby the fire area.

While your guests are confident that you will enjoy the fireworks from the outside, consider protecting your landlord’s floor from the inside – or you may be accountable for the loss if you leave at the end of the tenancy. Simple steps like laying a plastic sheet or applying not to wear shoes inside the bonfire area can make the difference.
